U.F.O Unidentified fishing object - By corruption interactive
Our game, Unidentified Fishing Object, is a 2D side scroller Metroidvania set on an underwater planet, with a focus on fishing/fighting enemies to gain upgrades and backtracking to complete puzzles and gain beneficial loot. The player will be a submarine which starts with basic movement, a harpoon for light damage and fishing, torpedoes for damage against stronger enemies and a dash to help navigate the environment. The player will traverse the environment, gaining upgrades until they eventually have to face off with bosses to enter the next area. These bosses will have unique theming and movesets for the player to deal with, and will reward the player with upgrades which allow them to traverse to previously locked areas of the environment. The player will descend further and further into the planet's core with each level they get through, each level will feature a unique biome and unique enemy designs to ensure that each area feels different to each other and keeps the gameplay fresh throughout the entire experience. The ultimate goal is to get to the final area and defeat the final boss, the Kraken, in order to complete the game.
